The second Open Data Camp in Switzerland brings thinkers and makers together around the theme of Mobility. Register now and be part of the breakthrough!
The first Open Data Camp in Switzerland in autumn 2011 was a big success. Over 100 interested folks got to know each other, and more than 20 exciting pioneer projects were initiated and implemented. See the results documented in our Wiki.
30 – 31 March 2012 the second Open Data Camp brings thinkers and makers together around the theme of Mobility.
We are convinced that the thematic focus will strengthen the community of designers, developers, activists and journalists, as well as also attract new people. Our common goal is to support Switzerland to become a more “direct data democracy”. For more transparency, openness, and common responsibility for our future. For a “Breakthru” in the field of “Mobility” in the first half of 2012!
To participate in this camp everyone is qualified, who has got interest in the topic of “mobility” as a customer, maybe even has got some specific expertise in the field of transportation etc., experience with and/or interest in data visualization or would like to contribute with his developer-skills to amazing ideas and projects.
Together thinkers and doers get things done and make a difference. Your ideas and your competence are in high demand to shape to future of how we deal with data in this country, so if you too feel it's time to make a difference sign up as:

| make.opendata.ch is an initiative of the association Opendata.ch. We kicked off the political debate on the federal level during a well-received event in June 2011 at the Swiss Federal Archives, since followed up with parliamentary inquiries together with the Parliamentary Group for Digital Sustainability. The community effort kicked off by make.opendata.ch is a much needed complement to the political and public relations activities. The initiative is politically independent and not bound to any particular party or funding source. | Hannes Gassert (Liip, /ch/open), Antoine Logean (innoQ, Opendata.ch), Oleg Lavrovsky (/ch/open), Andreas Amsler (Liip, Opendata.ch), François Bianco (/ch/open) und Jeremy Stucki (Interactive Things). |
